Weekly Wellness: Move Forward with FORWARD__Space (special announcements!)

Ever since FORWARD__Space kicked off the New Year at the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, they have been on the move. In 2021, in addition to their brick and mortar location in SoHo NYC, the crew turned up the heat at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater in Colorado, made waves at Chicago Park’s Theater on the Lake, and saw the energy lift off at the Intrepid. But what makes this particular dance studio worth the trip is the connection that’s created with every step.

All in the Movement

FORWARD__Space is an intoxicating blend of dance, kundalini, and your favorite music video. Through a carefully curated playlist, each professionally trained instructor guides dance enthusiasts of all levels through easy to follow choreographed movements while encouraging a free-flow of self-expression– all in an open, nonjudgemental environment. Each class concludes by setting positive intentions for the days or weeks ahead. It’s an elevated experience intended to free the mind and body from the every day worries of the world.

When you enter the FORWARD__Space community you are in more than a just dance class. You’re in a forward thinking and forward moving space where the only thing you need to be is present.

Back in the Hamptons

Now, FORWARD__Space is back in the Hamptons through Sunday, September 5. Find them on Fridays at The Reform Club in Amagansett, Saturdays at Hero Beach Club in Montauk, and Sundays at Southampton Arts Center in Southampton.

On Thursday, September 2 at exactly 5:05PM there will be a special FORWARD__Summer Sunset Dance Party at The Reform Club. It’ll start with a brief outdoor performance from FORWARD__Space founder’s company Kristin Sudeikis Dance, followed by a 50-minute end of summer dance party experience! If you love to dance there’s really no other place to be.

Go Virtual

Can’t make the in-person classes (in The Hamptons or NYC)?

In April 2020, as a direct result of the pandemic, the invigorating dance studio launched their own FS Virtual Hub, which reaches viewers in over 100 different countries.

“We are phenomenally grateful to be moving with people from around the globe. Dance, music and sweat are vital elements to our wellness. To move together, outdoors, virtually and in our location at 24 Spring Street in Soho has been a uniting and healing current flowing through the FORWARD__Space community.”— Kristin Sudeikis, Founder of FORWARD__Space.
